Location: Philadelphia, PA

The Pavilion makes use of forced perspective to emulate a rectangular floating roof while negotiating irregular setback requirements and disguising its sloped roof. The pool pavilion was designed with Modern detailing and made use of pre-fabrication techniques to reduce construction times in the client's home. A parametric model was created to define each of the structural components within every iteration.

My involvement in this project was from Concept to Design Development.

A parametric model created with Grasshopper illustrates all of the pavilion components, responding directly to setback constraints, gridlines, and required slope.
